Persistent, bioaccumulating and toxic substances (PBTSs) including persistent organic pollutants (POPs), are a group of pollutants that are persistent, bioaccumulating, and toxic, and have a tendency for long-range transport. Due to their acute, chronic and endocrine disrupting toxicity to humans and long-term effects on our environment, PBTSs are now receiving world-wide public attention. Therefore, we propose to organize the 4th International Symposium for Persistent, Bioaccumulating and Toxic Substances to provide a major interdisciplinary forum for presenting new approaches and new ideas for scientists. We are pleased to announce the call for abstract submission for the symposium. The symposium will provide a forum for international experts to exchange up-to-date knowledge on their research areas.
Topics include, but are not limited to
Long-range transport of SVOCs
Environment and health
